National highways are closing part of the M25 this weekend to install a new bridge across the road.
To safely complete this works, a FULL closure is needed between Junction 9 (A243 Leatherhead) and Junction 10 (A3 Wisley) in both directions for installation of a bridge and gantry.
This closure is in place from 9pm on Friday 10 May until 6am Monday 13 May 2024
There is expected to be delays. Please only travel if absolutely necessary.
There will be 19-mile diversions in place using the A3 and A243. There is an alternate diversion route for over height vehicles. Motorists are being asked to follow the diversion signs and NOT use satnavs. By staying on the signed diversion route, you will not be charged for driving in the Ultra Low Emission Zone. The Ultra Low Emission Zone will remain in force on all other routes in London across the weekend.
National Highways have a dedicated site to junction 10. The most up to date information can be found here including maps of the diversion routes.
