The legislation SCC must follow before introducing this scheme means that objections and comments from the public must be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with the preferred scheme in its current form.
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-named Order, under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to:
1. Impose a maximum speed limit of 40 miles per hour on the lengths of road specified and described in the First Schedule to this Notice.
2. Impose a maximum speed limit of 30 miles per hour on the lengths of road specified and described in the Second Schedule to this Notice – click here
