We are reminded, as a community, how important Headley Village Stores are and how much they have
stepped up to the plate by not only remaining open, but also providing a new delivery service that is open
to all members of our community.
In-store, procedures have been introduced to ensure social distancing remains – including one customer
at a time, two metre separation markings on the floor and the provision of hand sanitiser at the shop
entrance.
Glen has striven to find new suppliers due to stock shortages, resulting in a wide offering of
products including excellent fresh fruit and veg, and packs of ready made frozen meals and quality meats,
as well as a great range of essential items.
All products are available via the recently introduced home delivery service provided by Julie. This will
benefit those who are self isolating or shielding, as well as any other members of the community who
would prefer to shop local.
Times have clearly changed. Yet amongst these difficult days, there is good around us as we refocus both
now and in the future to ensure continued support to our local facilities such as our village shop, who are
proving their dedication and value to the community when it counts.
